Prenatal Yoga

Pregnancy is an important time where the body is constantly changing. Yoga is a great way to help your body adjust and adapt as your baby grows.  

Prenatal yoga is like regular yoga, just with a number of adaptations or variations that are designed to protect your baby and your body as your baby grows and your body changes throughout pregnancy. 

Some benefits to yoga during pregnancy:

  • Yoga can help alleviate body pains, like back pain, fatigue, and anxiety

  • Improved blood flow throughout the body

  • Improved flexibility

  • Reduced muscle tension

  • Stimulation of muscles to better help your body carry your baby

  • Can make labour and delivery easier
